Running has fast become the most popular form of exercise, with over 5 million recreational runners in the UK alone. Nearly 70% of all runners escape to indoor treadmills when the weather is too naff to go outside, but it can get boring staring at the same wall for 30 minutes.
To conquer this boredom, the founders of Running Unlimited have created the ZONE Dome - a multi-sensory simulation that will immerse you into some of the most inspiring locations from around the world.
At the touch of a button you can be running past elephants, giraffes and hyenas in Tanzania's Serengeti, through the awesome structures of America's Monument Valley and over rolling grasslands of Mongolia's Himalayan foothills.
Compatible with any brand of treadmill the free standing ZONE dome features a 1.5 metre wide hemisphere screen to fill your peripheral vision for a totally immersive experience. You can select runs of either 20 or 40 minutes, and speeds between 9 and 12km/h.
ZONE dome is available at Jubilee Hall gym in Covent Garden, London and will be coming to a gym near you soon. For more information visit RunningUnlimited.co.uk.
