What do you think of the election results?
The waiting is over - after four weeks of campaigning, three TV debates and a nailbiting day of voting, it has been announced this morning that, despite the Conservatives gaining the most seats across the UK, we now have a hung parliament - where no party has enough seats to take control of the government.Despite doing well in the TV debates, Lib Dem leader Nick Clegg has said he is disappointed with his party's relatively small share of the vote. At the time of writing, with about 30 seats left to declare, the Tories stand at 291 seats, Labour at 248, and the Lib Dems at 51. In this situation, the party leaders will look to form coalitions, partnerships where two or more parties work together to govern the country. Gordon Brown has said this morning that he would like to work with the Lib Dems to form a coalition government, but it is still unclear whether this will happen. What do you think of the election result?
