The weather's too depressing for our liking so we're going to get a cosy blanket, a hot cup of cocoa and distract ourselves with these DVDs...

Hart of Dixie

Rachel Bilson stars in the hit show which follows fast-talking New Yorker and brand new doctor Zoe Hart (Rachel Bilson) as she tries to become a successful heart surgeon, just like her dad. But she doesn't have the necessary bedside manner and is forced to take a year out as a general practitioner.

She finds herself heading to the lovely little town of BlueBell, Alabama, where Zoe sticks out like a sore thumb. The real shock comes when she learns that the doctor who invited her has passed away and left her with his half of the medical practice.

Hart Of Dixie, £26.99,

Just Buried

Get into the Halloween spirit with this twisted comedy about greed, sex and death. Rose Byrne (Bridesmaids) stars in this crazy tale about a young man who returns to his home town to take over his father's funeral home.

Business is pretty slow and thanks to Roberta (Rose Bryne) accidentally ends up providing the dead bodies needed to keep the business running. Together they start to knock of townsfolk while trying their hardest not to get caught.

The deaths are brutal and bizarre and you can't help but laugh at how each victim gets killed off.

Just Buried, £10.54,

Dark Tide

If you're anything like us then you're terrified of sharks but can't stop watching films about them. Halle Berry stars as the experienced diver who larks around with sharks for a living.

After a brutal attack, she is less than willing to get back in the water with her finned friends but when a businessman makes her a generous offer to take him swimming with sharks, she can't refuse. But with a massive storm brewing and Great White sharks on the hunt, the dive starts to get very bloody indeed.

The actress actually met her fiancé Olivier Martinez on this flick so it's worth the watch just to see how they love formed despite all the snorkelling gear she had to wear.

Dark Tide, £8.99,

Red Lights

You know a film is good when you've got Robert De Niro signed on. Red Lights is a gripping thriller about scientists who expose the trickery used by magicians and all those who claim to have supernatural powers. However, there is one blind psychic who they just can't seem to crack.

The cast is superb with one of our faves Elizabeth Olsen popping up as student Sally Owen. This is a thrilling watch for all those who have ever wondered if there really is such a thing as psychic powers.

Red, £11.99,

2 Days in New York

Ever wondered how the French do comedy? Well you can find out with this eccentric comedy by French actress Julie Delpy.

She plays a French woman living in New York who's shacked up with a DJ played by Chris Rock. When her family come to visit, all hell breaks loose as it would when you're nymphomaniac sister decides to bring your ex-boyfriend along.

Like we said, a very eccentric comedy!

Any of these tickle your fancy?
