If you thought it was only women who dream about big white dresses, horse drawn carriages and towering cakes, think again, because new research suggests blokes are the real wedding obsessives.
Whereas women would rather save their money to spend on a house deposit, it's the men in their lives who are fighting to spend their hard-earned cash on a wedding bash.
In fact, men are now twice as likely to want a big white wedding than women.
According to research by Barclays bank, only 9% of women would spend their savings on a wedding, while 16% of men said they would splash the cash.
Perhaps, they're just saying that because they think that's what their partner would want!
With the average wedding costing up to £20,000, it's hardly surprising that most women want to put that money to better use.
Lots of couples are choosing to delay their nuptials for years to avoid whipping out their credit cards.
What do you think? Is your partner more interested in a big wedding than you?
