We couldn't believe we were already down to the final four acts on The X Factor.
As everyone tried to decide who they wanted to see in the final, the acts were given the chance to plea to the public one last time by choosing a song dedicated to a loved one and then a song that they felt could get them into the final.
Unfortunately for Union J, they failed to convince enough members of the public that they could go further in the competition.
The night started with the finalist's singing Merry Christmas Baby with none other then Rod Stewart! We felt a lot of man love was on that stage.
Next the panel's resident Female Boss took to the stage as she gave a stripped back performance of her new single, Sight Of You, and we can't help but point out that Tulisa was singing on a box. Hmmmm.
Then Pink came up and did a much more covered up rendition of her new hit, Try, but we would have loved it if she did her fancy dance/fight routine again. That would have shown the acts how to own a stage.
But back to business and on to the big reveal...
Poor Union J didn't make the cut leaving James Arthur, Christopher Maloney and Jahmene Douglas at this year's X Factor finalists.
The boys took the news in their stride and they performed Taylor Swift's Love Story as a farewell...for now! As Louis Walsh keot saying, they could be "the next big boyband" so watch this space.
And there you have it. An all male final with someone from the over category. We defiinetely didn't see that coming!
Who do you want to see crowned this year's winner? And more importantly, who do you think will actually win it?
