Simon Cowell made a surprise appearance at the X Factor launch where he thanked critics.
Simon, who's back in London where he was spotted with his baby's mother Lauren Silverman, cheekily make comments about the success of the show.
He said, "I'm very proud of this show, and once again I feel like a very proud daddy."
He also joked to journalists and critics about the amount of money he's made saying, "I want to thank the people who have slagged us off. It's all been great, made us successful - and loads of money - so thank you very much."
"It's 10 years of X Factor - great panel, great talent. It's so easy after 10 years to get lazy and make the same show again."
He continued, "But with the enthusiasm and the changes, the judging panel is fantastic, it feels fresh and fantastic."
At the screening, judge Louis Walsh commented that he may not leave the show at the end of the year as we previously reported. He said, "You never know. Ten times on one show is a long time. Who knows, I'm having a great time this year. I may come back."
Meanwhile Gary Barlow joked that he'd like to see a Take That week. When asked he said, "Absolutely. I've been fighting for this for years. Come on producers. Let's get some decent music on there."
