It's been a good year for Angelina Jolie so far. She's starred in the epic Disney film Maleficent, is rocking a killer wardrobe and is planning a wedding to Brad Pitt.
Well she can now add receiving a damehood from The Queen to the list.
The actress and special UN envoy was made an honorary dame in The Queen's birthday honours. Her official title is dame commander of the order of St Michael and St George. Phew!
Angie has been rewarded for her work as the co-founder (with Foreign Secretary William Hague) of the Preventing Sexual Violence Initiative (PSVI), to prevent sexual crimes in war zones.
The Oscar-winning actress said of the award: "To receive an honour related to foreign policy means a great deal to me as it is what I wish to dedicate my working life to. Working on PSVI and with survivors of rape is an honour in itself. I know that succeeding in our goals will take a lifetime and I am dedicated to it for all of mine."
We didn't know it was possible for us to love her even more, but there you go.
