From Miranda Kerr to Millie Mackintosh, celebs see nothing wrong with inviting their furry friends into the sack for a cuddle.
Whilst impossibly cute - is it safe?
A study in America found that about 50% of pet owners allow their dogs on the bed, meanwhile 62% of cat owners snuggle up with their kitty.
The issue of whether it is safe however is a minefield.
If you suffer from allergies or asthma, then obviously get that animal out of your bedroom immediately.
Also - if you struggle to sleep or have insomnia, then it is a good idea to keep them out while you try and get some shut eye as they can disturb your sleep pattern.
If you are not affected by any of the above - it depends on your feelings towards germs.
Some argue that sleeping in close proximity to dogs can transmit illnesses such as worms and fleas (they do lick their own butts and we once watched ours swallow a decomposing rabbit's head whole. So you know.)
Meanwhile others argue that it can build up your immune system, for the same reasons as above.
Basically - it is up to you, the level of allergies you suffer and how you feel about finding dog hairs in your mouth of a morn.
