A conference discussing therapy tactics to turn gay people straight will be held in London next month, according to pinknews.co.uk.
The panel made up of two controversial Christian groups will be discussing 'gay-to-straight conversion therapy' to support the 'ex-gay movement'.
Their mission is to cure the world of homosexuality. Okay then.
The two groups; Christian Legal Centre and Core Issues Trust, have asked the question, "Homosexual orientation and practice - what did Jesus say? Straight, gay, bisexual - what about ex-gay and post-gay? 'Don't want to be gay anymore? Sorry we're not allowed to help you!' Is that ethical?"
So, basically, they're doing God's work by helping people to not be gay. Wowzer.
The conference will be led by Dr Mike Davidson of Core Issues Trust who admits he had homosexual feelings before having 'suppression therapy'.
And there's no way that will come back to haunt him later in life. Absolutely no way at all.
Will this damage London's reputation as a tolerant capital?
