Actor Chris Noth was told to lose weight if he wanted to play Mr Big in the Sex and the City movie.
The actor has revealed that the show's creator Michael Patrick King warned him to get slim otherwise he wouldn't be appearing alongside fashionable Carrie Bradshaw.
Basically they told him he was too fat to play Mr Big! Uh Oh.
Chris revealed, "When we were doing the movie of Sex and the City, Michael Patrick King came up to me and said, 'Listen, dude, we're not calling you Mr. Big because of the size of your stomach, so go lose that before we start shooting.'"
OMG, that's a bit harsh!
Luckily, Chris had a good sense of humour and decided to cut back on the food and hit the treadmill.
No wonder everyone's so stressed about staying trim in Hollywood - we wouldn't want someone demanding we lose weight in order to get paid.
