You may be making more dirty phone calls than you care to, as researchers have discovered mobiles have more bacteria than a toilet. Potty mouth...

Time to grab an anti-bacterial wipe, as scientists have scared us all by finding out your mobile phone might have more bacteria on it than a toilet seat.

Just too gross!

In a Kim and Aggie style clean test, researchers found that there were up to 10 times more bugs responsible for nausea and vomiting on your mobile phone than you would find on a toilet.

Sharing your mobile phone with friends and never giving them a clean is responsible for the build up of baddies.

Apparently, because it is an electrical device, we all shy away from giving them a good wipe down, as we would with other surfaces.

However, we touch phones all the time with germs on our hands, put it down on mucky surfaces, shove them in our pockets or handbags...and then put all that next to our mouths.

We're slightly scared of our answering that call now...

So how do you clean your phone? It's a two pronged attack - keep your hands clean by washing them frequently and get hold of some dry, alcohol wipes to kill those nasties.

While you're at it - you might want to give your computer keyboard a good scrub as well as they have been found to be five times grubbier than the average loo seat.

Ew, Ew, Ewwwwwww!
