Alexander McQueen has designed a limited-edition scarf in support of a new environmental initiative.

Eco-fashion just went up-market, with the news that Alexander McQueen has been working on a special project for environmental film HOME. The British designer, known for his show-stopping designs, has created a limited edition scarf featuring a manipulated photographic representation of Earth as seen from space, morphed into a skull. The 200 scarves, which retail at £150, are available exclusively at the Alexander McQueen boutique on London's Bond Street, with profits going to HOME, which will be launched on 5 June (Earth Day), is a film made by Yann Arthus Bertrand and co-produced by Luc Besson (director of Léon and The Fifth Element). Made as an effort to raise awareness on social issues and climate change.
