Michelle Obama has been voted 'best dressed woman in the world' by The Sunday Times, beating the likes of Kate Middleton, Beyoncé, Cara Delevingne, Miuccia Prada and Victoria Beckham.
In the paper's first ever Best Dressed list, the First Lady won top spot on account of her fearless approach to colour, print and edgier labels such as Erdem, Thome Browne and high street classics.
Our own British icons however played a somewhat languid role in the list of 25, with Victoria Beckham and Kate Middleton coming in at 8 and 9 respectively, leaving Cara Delevingne and Stella McCartney to represent at numbers 5 and 6.
Phoebe Philo, Miuccia Prada and Beyoncé completed the top of the table, while Home Secretary Theresa May made an unexpected appearance at number 11, beating Kristen Stewart, Rita Ora, Alexa Chung, Adele and Gwyneth Paltrow!
